In my short life, I've gathered memories living in three countries: Morocco, Canada, and most recently Western NY, USA. I both struggle over my nomadic lack of belonging, and embrace it. Many of the photographs I take are from the windows of moving cars, and many of my prints or paintings are created with these images as inspiration. You will also find images from my forays into Europe.
Whether painting, creating original prints with ink and
paper, or snapping a photograph, I delight in the act of creation. I hope that
you will enter with me into the quiet poetry of a scene or a moment. I enjoy simple beauty, sparse composition, untouched photographs and also that
little bit of awkwardness or clumsiness that makes a work of art or a poem come
to life.
